Why not get a that used pc desktop, There is no reason to go out and spend a ton of money on something that you can get at a much lower cost. And just because it has been used does not mean that it is not going to work. I got a used laptop last summer. It was used but all of a few times so they said and in my opinion it worked as good as new. Other than a few scratches that were really not that noticeable it was a great buy.

Aluminum Foil is BAD

Aluminum is SO bad for your health and it is not only in the foods we eat but in medicine, vaccinations, it is in our soil! But aside from that you also have the aluminum foil. I personally would NOT cook in aluminum foil or even use it to store food in. Trace amounts of aluminum add up and add up quick and if you are not one to detox then it will stay in your system wreaking havoc!

Buying a Stainless Steel Watch

Watches make for a great gift..sure you have your cell phone that is now the substitute for most people who use to wear that watch, but, a nice watch is a great accessory and piece of jewelry to own.

Dishonesty

There is nothing worse than being lied to but in a way that makes it appear not to be a lie but rather and oversight or rather added expenses that just come up. I need to know what I own someone for a service they have provided before they do it. I don’t want hidden costs or and estimate that was off…get it right especially if they have been in the business for 30 years. I guess they have been ripping off people for 30 years if that is the case.

Pool Supply

There is something about shopping on the off season that is just so much better when it comes to saving money. Now is the time to look at your pool supply of things that you are always getting and needing during the summer months but that are now most likely on sale or at least less than what they are. Or you could be super rich and have that indoor pool that needs maintenance year round. I use to clean houses for someone that had an indoor pool…it was so nice – I just wanted to put down the mop and go for a swim!

The hottest gift this holiday season I think was the cake pop kits. These things are so fabulous if you like to make things for your kids and their classes. Bees in the Winter?

So, we have a few warm days and now I have a bee in my place! And this thing is clearly out of it because it is just wild but I don’t want it to sting me. It is not a honey bee but rather a hornet and it is mad. If it does sting me I will be getting the honey to draw out the toxins that is for sure. Sometimes in the summer if I get stung by a bee I will put a ton of mud on it but in the winter…I can not make mud if the ground is frozen!

Ok – I never in a million years would have thought that this would have been a good show. And I just happened to watch it. It is actually kinda funny – very weird however but still very amusing. It is a weird type of humor but I really like it quite a bit. And the two main characters are very funny as well. If you like short skits then you may like something like this…very quirky but at the same time very funny.

Yesterday I had to convince my husband that it is not necessary to record every football game that is on television. Ever since we got direct tv, he has taken total advantage of the DVR and has almost completely filled it up with football games. In fact, I wanted to record a two hour movie, but could not because there was not enough room on the DVR due to his football games. I do not understand why he feels the need to record every game. He watches several of the games when they are actually on. There are other games of which he knows the outcome, but still likes to watch the entire game, replays and all. I used to like to watch football with my husband when we first got married. However, the longer we have been married, the less I like football. It takes up every Sunday afternoon, Monday night, and Thursday night. College football is different. I enjoy watching SEC football because I went to UGA, although I do not like it well enough to record every game on our DVR.

Hawthorn Berry

If you want to have a tea that is great for your heart and that tastes good too then you have to try hawthorn berry tea. It is so delicious. Personally I like any sort of berry tasting tea but this was I really like because there are so many great benefits to it. It helps with your heart and your blood pressure….things that more people should really think about – prevention is key!

There are some professions that people should consider so that you will not have to worry about the recession and losing your job like Dental Hygienist Jobs. Every dentist needs to have a few on staff for them to clean their patients teeth. And it is a profession that is not that stressful. There are so many people going to college these days getting degrees that really have no jobs for them…like philosophy. My good friend got her degree in that – I don’t know what she is doing now? There are so many majors that really don’t offer any job security or even a job for that matter?

Dragon Software

So, I have a friend that got the dragon software..this is great if you type a lot I suppose but it is really going to make typing obsolete…there are certain things that people should just really know how to do like typing and handwriting. I can not believe that handwriting may become obsolete! I was reading that they just want to do away with it in the schools…that is just crazy! Why they try to change things is beyond me…they don’t know what the hell they are doing!

Getting a Utility Knife

When it comes to certain things that you should have a utility knife is a good one to have on the list especially when you are going camping or hiking. You need to have a good utility knife just for basic survival really. There are so many to choose from these days too so you have to really look at them because you want a good one that will actually work well when you need it. When I was in high school one of my best friends was an eagle scout and there were so many things that he needed when he went on those weekend scout trips and a utility knife was one of them!
