Why not get a that used pc desktop, There is no reason to go out and spend a ton of money on something that you can get at a much lower cost. And just because it has been used does not mean that it is not going to work. I got a used laptop last summer. It was used but all of a few times so they said and in my opinion it worked as good as new. Other than a few scratches that were really not that noticeable it was a great buy. Why spend money on cable these days when you can get that converter online. You can get a digital converter that will allow you see those high quality digital TV broadcasts for FREE. It doesn’t matter if you are watching it on a 60″ brand new HDTV flatscreen LCD panel tv or that 1998 square box analog TV – it will work! The holidays are coming around the corner…so, if you know someone that likes electronics then why not think about getting them a tablet computer. These are great to have… portable and something that everyone could use. It is amazing that even just 15 years ago computers were completely and totally different. You can only imagine what they are going to look like in 10 years from now. i love looking at old movies to see all the electronics especially how they are so big…cell phones are just enormous in early 1990 movies! So you are going to the beach…why not have an adventure in the water? Everyone is always looking for that hidden treasure that they find in the beach sands but they never think to look in the water because they don’t have those under water metal detectors. And they do exist. Imagine how many things are lost in the waters at the ocean…rings, jewelry – you name it!
