These bases would make for a great gift for that little guy in your life. And Easter is almost around the corner so wouldn’t this be a great gift form the Easter Bunny this year. And it is a nice gift to bring in the Spring! Time for a little warm weather waffle ball to have some summer time fun!

Ear Infection
Posted on 01.26.10 by everything @

I new that my daughter had an ear infection but she wanted to go to school and she said she felt fine – I had kept her home a few days already. I got the call to pick her up…went to call the doctor and all their sick appointments are booked for today…what kind of dumb doctor do I have. When I was little if I was sick my doctor would see me anytime and fit me in!

Natursutten BPA-Free Natural Rubber Pacifier, Orthodontic
Posted on 01.19.10 by everything @

This is a nice pacifier because it will not hurt or affect the baby’s teeth when they start to come it. And I like the fact that it is BPA free and it is natural. A pacifier is so much better than sucking on the thumb – I had a cousin that sucked her thumb until she was 4 and man are her teeth completely messed up!

Procerin
Posted on 01.18.10 by everything @

I was reading an article on cradle cap and hair loss in infants and I believe it. My daughter has the thinnest hair and it takes forever to grow. It is starting to look a little better but it took years to get to this point. Whether you are 2 or 72 it is not fun when you lose you hair. There are products out there like procerin but if you have an infant that is losing their hair it maybe do to cradle cap. I found that the cradle cap products out there you can buy at your local pharmacy are great. You just put in on the infants head and hair and come it out to losen up the dead skin and rinse it followed by a moisturizer. A lot better than the cradle cap look!

These are great clippers. Many new moms may not realize that even just a week after they get homr formt eh hospital they are goign to have to trim their baby’s nails. And they have small fingers that are very delicate but man are their nails sharp. And if you are nursing then you will know first hand how sharp they are when they accidentally scratch you!

Merit Pay In Schools
Posted on 01.15.10 by everything @

That is a BAD idea. Do you realize how many special needs students are in the schools. Teachers do the best that they can with these students that are mainstreamed. Now they will be penalized by pay…what teacher is going to want that special needs student in their classroom to bring down the test scores…the government is clueless on the mental problems our children have!

Baby’s R Us
Posted on 01.11.10 by everything @

My sister registered at Baby’s R Us for her baby registry. She asked for my help after she registered for the most ridiculous things! I mean – she registered and not got a tub that has 2 stars with 450 votes – the tub molds after 2 months. Why wouldn’t she do her research on this! And half the things that you register at baby’s r us for are not even in the stores!!! That is annoying!

Baby in the Carriage
Posted on 10.17.09 by everything @

I can not even watch the video of the baby that almost got ran over by a train….she was run over but the carrage pinned her down and she was in the middle of the tracks so the train never even touched her. But the horrible horror that that mother must have felt – she must have aged 10 years in that 1 minute. I would wish this to no one.

Boys Will Be Boys
Posted on 10.10.09 by everything @

It just amazes me that even at a very very young age before they can even walk or crawl for that matter that a little boy is just drawn to cars and trucks…anything with wheels. That and balls – my son has had tennis balls, baseballs, baby toy balls…he loves to throw them and I have to say that for a little guy he has quite a little arm.

Tub Of Gum
Posted on 10.10.09 by everything @

I got my daughter a tub of gum last year because she just really loved gum. Well, the tub is still almost all full! What a waist that was. I like the gum though…it is just bubble gum and the flavor lasts for all of maybe 10 minutes but it is pretty good. Then of course you have to throw it away right away because the taste becomes very bad after a while.

Don’t Look
Posted on 09.03.09 by everything @

Sometimes when a child falls…you just do not want to make eye contact. Of course you want to make sure that they are ok, but sometimes they are just looking for that response and if you do not give it to them then they do not start to cry and they don’t really care. I have found that in many cases…if you just do not look…everything is fine.

School Days and Scrapbooking
Posted on 09.02.09 by everything @

I just love to take pictures and I have so many photo albums but it is nice to make a scrapbook of your kids for when they go to school. I have one for my daughter for just Kindergarden and then I have a photo album for her 1st grade through 5th that I am still working on. And then she will be pretty much on her own if she wants to make a scrapbook of in school things.

Swimming
Posted on 08.27.09 by everything @

One of the final days of summer….swimming at the pool. It was just a great day too – the water was fabulous and the day was just beautiful. It is nice to take the kids swimming but you just have to make sure that you watch them. There are just so many accidents that happen at a pool that could be avoided if you were to just watch the kids!

Diapers
Posted on 08.27.09 by everything @

I have noticed that the prices are pretty much staying the same but the things are getting less. I see it a lot in cereal and spegetti sauce jars but now even with diaper. I actually called Bertolli because they changed the shape of their jar…4 oz. less. They said it was easy to hold and a nicer design…do they think that we are stupid! It is because we are paying more for less!

Octomom
Posted on 08.20.09 by everything @

I am a little tired of the press focusing in on things that are really not all that imporant. Like the octomom for example…. really…this lady I swear is just in it for the press and the popularity so that she can get things. And she does need help I am sure financially but I think she has gotton really greedy about the whole thing. You don’t have kids to get rich…that is just horrible!

So Selfish
Posted on 08.13.09 by everything @

Well, I am a little selfish in thinking this…my sister is having a baby in April and my sister in law is having a baby in October…up until now I was the only one that had kids so I always had that babysitter and my kids were always getting clothing…now I will not anymore. I am bummed. I don’t know what I am going to do actually. It really sucks for me.

Elmo’s Voice
Posted on 08.11.09 by everything @

There is something about Elmo’s voice that I just can not stand. I don’t know what it is but it is not only annoying…it just goes right through me and actually gives me a headache and my kids love him. I can not stand him. I think he really took over the fun loving monster, Grovers, place on the show and I really resented them for allowing this muppet to take over.

Putting To Sleep
Posted on 08.03.09 by everything @

Putting a baby to sleep is just so incredibly hard when they just do not want to go to sleep. And then it gets to a point where it is just down right frustrating. You could not do anything all day and you expect that you can do something at night but you can not because they are up until 11 p.m. – and then they sleep in…that’s great!

Whining
Posted on 07.25.09 by everything @

I can stand the crying of a baby but it is the constant whining that I just can not stand. Anything before the age of 2 is not really all that fun in my opinion. I just love the ages 2-6 – those are the really fun times because they are little but they can actually talk and communicate with you. Anything before that is just not all that much fun.

Names Say Alot
Posted on 07.18.09 by everything @

I have worked with a lot of children and the study just came out stating that names can be asssocialted with bad behavior…I have always said that. But names they have forgotten are Ryan….I have never met a Ryan that did not cause trouble – that and Morgans…I have never met a nice morgan. And the list goes on. They have names like Ivan and Garland…who names their kids names like that today!
