I think that everyone needs good scanning software. It is needed in the office and if you have a business but it is nice to have if you just enjoy pictures especially for your family. If you enjoy making scrapbooks then this is really needed. I am one that loves to make scrapbooks and I usually have all the pictures I need on digital camera and cards but there is on occation especially when dealing with very old pictures where you need that scanning software and a great scanner as well.
